Sightseeing in Luxor

Sightseeing in Egypt is often connected to the pyramids but there is a great deal more to see, especially in Luxor. Here you can find the famous Luxor temple, known as the southern sanctuary, while it was founded around 1400 BCE.

There is a slight charge upon entry but it’s worth it if you want to come away from your holiday in Egypt having seen some monumental historic buildings. The Mummification Museum is another unique place to visit in Luxor, Egypt, and here you can actually learn about the process of mummification, be careful though, it’s not for the faint hearted.
